Last week 01/12/2012 I bought my usual Kraft French onion dip, only to be disappointed that it is now a runny white creamy fill with absolutely no taste. What happened to the nice firm robust onion taste and firm texture.

This stuff is so runny that it would not even stay on my chips. If this does not change back to the original recipe, I will quit buying your brands. That's my final answer!

There was no explanation that this product had changed in any way or was I to believe that this product had changed. Thank You!

Itโ€™s a shame people donโ€™t know how good this use to be, we just don't buy it anymore. Prairie farms is a pretty good substitute.

Oh my god, Kraft - please stop making dips... the French Onion WITH garlic flavor is horrid! Stop!

Asked Public in Emerald Isle to try and get the kraft french onion dip. NO success.

This was around January 2020.

I believe they stopped making it. It was the best dip no others compere!

Funny, I just sent an email to Kraft asking them why they changed their French Onion Dip! I agree with you, it is disgusting!

I haven't eaten French onion dip in 7 years when Kraft changed their dip from REAL French onion dip to the watery sauce they sell today. I've read that they temporarily changed it back around 2016 but I never found it.

If Kraft will not listen to us,and return to the original version then I would love to find another brand that's similar. Does anyone know One?

After all the complaints several years ago, they changed it back to the wonderful original formula. Now they have gone and reversed it back to the snot-like mess that I refuse to eat! Please, please, please change it back to the original formula!

Please change the consistency of the French Onion Dip back to its original form.

Your right! It's 2016 and it's still the same.

Like you I miss the firm more seasoned dip. You changed the recipe! Change it back!! Please bring it back!!

Please!! You

Make your own! French Onion soup mix and sour cream or cream cheese!

Easy! Cheaper!

I loved the french onion dip from years ago. it was packed in a silver can that had ridges and was thick and i loved it so much mama couldn't keep enough of it because us kids would eat it with our fingers.

i have looked for it for a long time.

I hate any of the onion dips now. I would give anything to find the same thing again i don't care how much it cost.

Me too! I know what you're talking about. Miis that dip.

Everyone in the house thought I was crazy! Thank god I'm not alone on this. It's so runny and creamy now, I just hate it.

Guest

I bought the dip today and it IS the original recipe again. My container was dated May 2013 as the expiration day. It was bought at WalMart in Mississippi.

Guest

Kraft has definitely not changed it back to the original recipe I remember growing up! It's still that creamy gunk.

I will never understand why companies change something that has always worked.

It never turns out to be an improvement.

They ruined the French Onion Dip. WTF!

Guest

To the person that said they changed it back. Wrong my carton is dated FEB 2013.

Same thing no taste and runny. Guess I'll start making my own.

Guest

Kraft listened and our fav dip is back. Make sure the date on the bottom is Nov.2012 or later and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Not true it's 2014 and still (new dates) it's the Nasty gloppy ***! I can only imagine the hard earned money that has been thrown in the garbage can from this gross misrepresentation!

You cannot do this without some type of label change or adding "NEW RECIPE" to the label!!! This is grossly unfair and theft of our hard earned money!!!

Kraft french onion dip used to be thick and yummy for many many years now it is watery and lacks flavor. Do not buy it till they change it back.
