I just tried to melt cheese for 12 minutes in milk at an attempt to make a cheese sauce, as you can see it never melted, and here is the result.. YUM, EAT UP!!

Have you ever let a slice of velvet a type cheese dry out? It becomes plastic! Try it, you will never eat artificial cheese again.
Cheese sauce is not just melted cheese... You need to make it properly.
Did you even look up a recipe? Some people are so ***.
Something similar happened to me I brought Kraft 2% slices and it does melt smh
well, to make a cheese sauce, you just don't melt cheese... You must bring some milk and a teaspoon of cornstarch or flour to a boil, then simmer (making a roux) then add the cheese very slowly to melt.
If you just plop cheese in a pan it will curdle.
